This Scottsdale Arizona engagement session was such a blast, and these two were up for anything! We went out to one of my favorite locations in north Scottsdale for a beautiful sunset session.
I often get asked how I end up deciding on a location with my couples. Typically, I will ask for any suggestions or any particular landscape that they feel drawn to. After that, I am able to narrow down some great suggestions for clients! I spend a lot of time scouting for the best locations all around Arizona and the southwest, so I am always able to find unique locations that will work for each client.
For whatever reason, the bugs were really out during this session, which almost never happens in Arizona! We were swatting little flying bugs away left and right, but C and J just kept telling me that they were totally fine and to take my time. Desert sessions are not for the faint of heart, but they are always worth it!
We also had the good fortune to see a gila monster during this session. If you’ve never heard of them, they are basically giant extremely poisonous desert salamander-type animals. I have lived in Arizona my entire life, and that was the first time I have crossed paths with one in the wild. But I love an element of danger as much as the next person! Nothing screams romance like a poisonous reptile.
But all desert wildlife drama aside, we had an absolutely epic time at this session. When you are hanging with your person, everything else just seems to fade away.
We ended this Scottsdale, Arizona engagement session just as the sun was dropping down below the horizon.
