This secluded Sedona Arizona elopement was such a fun, peaceful day. Sedona is the spot that just keeps on giving. Everywhere you look, there are scenic, off the beaten path areas to have your special day.
But first I met up with the happy couple, who wanted to get ready together at their hotel. I love it when couples decide to get ready together. It’s a really nice peaceful moment to take in before the rest of the day begins, whether you’re having guests or not.
These two wanted a semi-private ceremony location where their closest family and friends could gather with them to celebrate. While the beautiful trails in Sedona are all public, there are plenty of lesser known locations to sneak away where you won’t find too many other travelers around. We planned for the perfect secluded spot among the red rocks.
Once the ceremony was completed, the guests headed off to cocktails and dinner, and we took some time to hike around a bit for some bride and groom photos at sunset. The red rocks really come alive as it gets closer to sunset, so I always leave some time for portraits at the end when the lighting is best.
These two had the perfect secluded Sedona Arizona elopement day. It certainly doesn’t come together without some planning, but you can have an intimate elopement (with guests!) at a scenic outdoor spot when you know where to look.
