These two came all the way out from the east coast for this dreamy Scottsdale, Arizona elopement. The couple had visited out this way before on a road trip and fell in love with the scenery. And with views like these, who can blame them? They contacted me, and we started planning their perfect day!

We met up at their getting ready location, Saguaro Lake Ranch, which is such a fun spot to stay (or get married!). Scenic river views and epic cliffs make it a great spot to get away from the city. We took just a few photos here before heading out to Scottsdale for their elopement ceremony.

Ceremony

It was a quick walk out into the saguaros to their ceremony location. I scoped this location out just for them, based on some of their wants as far as privacy and scenery. I work closely with all of my couples to make sure that your ceremony spot is right for you. It couldn’t have been a better location for their vows to one another.

After the ceremony, we explored the area for their bride and groom photos.

Finally, we ended this dreamy Scottsdale, Arizona elopement with some epic star photos. The circumstances aren’t always right for star photos, as it’s very weather-dependent. You also have to be far enough away from the city to avoid excessive light pollution, and the moon can’t be too full on your date. But it happened to work out for this day!
