Adventure Elopement Photographer

My first post in the Adventure section of my blog… exciting times.

I thought this would be a good place to post more personal things, a little bit more about myself, and a little bit more about my interests!

So, who exactly am I? Who is the person who will be taking your photographs and helping you create some amazing memories? And what in the heck is an adventure elopement photographer? This is the little sneak peek behind the scenes into what I like to do when I’m not working.

First off, I am not exaggerating when I say that I love to travel. I love experiencing new places and new cultures.  It can be anything from as small as a quick day trip outside of Phoenix to one of the quirky western towns around, or a trip halfway across the world –  I just love seeing new things and feeling the vibe of somewhere different.

I am married to that awesome dude in these photos, and I am super lucky that he puts up with all of my crazy ideas and supports me in my eternal quest for new destinations.

As for me personally, if I can try it, I want to do it.  My goal in life I think is to try and maximize my experiences.  If I can get it in the water, try a new food, climb to the top of that mountain, I will.

I am very fortunate that something that is such a huge part of my life carries over into my job. It’s amazing to meet like-minded clients from all over the states and the world who share the same spirit of adventure.  My personal experiences have certainly shaped who I am as a professional,  and I love that I am able to serve clients better by getting out there and adventuring myself.

This job is one where the personal certainly overflows into the professional.  My outside interests give me the opportunity to understand my clients better and connect with them.  That connection is really critical when choosing a photographer who will capture some of the most important moments in your life.

So hopefully by now, you feel like you know me just a little bit better.

Wherever you want to go, whatever you want to do, whatever form your vision takes, I would love to be there to capture it.  I can be there in the snow (and hey, I’ve been dying to photograph a ski or snowboard wedding), I can be there by the ocean (or heck, in the ocean), I can be there in the desert, I can be there for you halfway around the world, or I can be there for you in your own backyard.

Adventure is a state of mind, not a far-off destination.

Ready to find it? Contact me to chat about your vision.
